Jean-Jacques, master tailor, reveals the story of the Tuff’s jacket

“This is the essential jacket straight from the 1970s. Tuff’s is the reissue of a timeless piece that has marked the history of fashion and looks! Created for everyone, in light denim or raw indigo, worn oversized or fitted, it is the ideal companion for cooler summer evenings.”

History

THE LEGACY OF AN ENTIRE GENERATION

Iconic and timeless, Le Tuff’s is now enjoying a second life! Worn by a whole generation in the 1970s thanks to Jean-Jacques Tuffery and his brothers, it became a simple paper pattern idling in the company’s archives. Today, it is back in the heart of the workshop, becoming once again an essential item in people’s wardrobes. It is not uncommon to come across very old jackets from the Tuffery factory dating from the time of their creation in the village of Florac. Sticking to the traditional style, the new generation at Atelier Tuffery have decided to reissue this major piece of our history.
